All the little arrangements on our bedside tables, coffee tables and dressers. Those little collections of memories, pictures and flowers. They remind me of family altars. Not in a religious sense but in an appreciating one. You put together and showcase things that are close to your heart or reflect your aesthetics. Little compositions like that turn very mundane spaces like your kitchen or bathroom into something very personal - provided you do not plunder the next best decoration store for them.

My vignettes are mostly colorful and made of childhood memories, gifts from friends and souvenirs from travels. Sometimes I even think of fresh flowers. I'd love to see your favorite composition at your home and make a blog entry out of it. Are you in? Send me a picture at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me the story of your arrangement. This is the first time I ask you to interact with Designwiesel and I am quite excited, I tell you!
